Phil Davis will tell you that, upon graduating from Penn State in 2008, the four-time All-American wrestler and 2008 NCAA champion had no intentions of becoming a professional mixed martial artist.

Of course, a lot can change in a year.

Davis will be under the lights tonight at Mellon Arena, where he’ll be risking his unblemished 3-0 professional record against David Baggett of Lakeland, Fla., in a light-heavyweight, co-main event at the Ultimate Cage Fighting Challenge’s Rumble on the Rivers.
