For several months now, it has been rumored that PA native but University of Oklahoma signee Jake Kemerer would be enrolling at PSU (and university student directories seemed to confirm that rumor). PSU has finally put out a press release confirming that Jake is part of this year’s incoming freshman class.

While there is no mention of whether Kemerer obtained a release from Oklahoma, the release reads as if he had since it mentions what weight he is projected at for this season.

EDIT: PSU has rewritten the press release to make it clear that Jake will not wrestle this season. Plus the Harrisburg Patriot has confirmed through PSU assistant SID that Jake does not have a release from Oklahoma.
