I just picked up this little tidbit from Cael’s blog (look to the right ==>) and found it worth sharing.

Now before you jump in and quickly answer ZERO, I’m talking about his younger days.

A reader of Cael’s blog wrote in and asked Cael how many matches he lost in GRADE SCHOOL.  The writer was already aware that Cael only lost three in high school but was curious about his early years.

I should know by now that nothing about Cael should surprise me, but this did.  Cael answered that he lost four times in grade school including three in fourth grade.   Cael remarked about how the three losses really upset him.  Now here’s what’s mind blowing.   Yes he lost three times but he was wrestling on his junior high school team.  That meant that he was going up against kids as much as five years older than him in NINTH grade.   That blows my mind.

So that makes the answer to my original question seven.  Three times in fourth grade wrestling junior high, one other grade school loss, three times at the high school level, and none in college.
