UNIVERSITY PARK — A home dual meet to begin Penn State’s wrestling season would be nice considering the curiosities surrounding the new coach.
But anybody who follows college athletics around here, especially football, men’s basketball and women’s volleyball, understands Scheduling Claus rarely packages ideal home gifts.
So for the first match of the Cael Sanderson era we must settle for Penn State at Lehigh on Friday night.
This could be the perfect way to begin Sanderson’s tenure as head coach.
