BETHLEHEM, Pa. ? A Sanderson was popular with one fan in the Lehigh Valley on Friday night.

A young, blonde woman stood at the railing to the lower stands sporting a T-shirt that read: “Cyler, will you marry me?” referring to Penn State’s starting 157-pounder.

As Cyler’s older brother, and Penn State’s first-year head coach, Cael Sanderson, strolled by, the woman asked Cael if she could get Cyler’s autograph since she made her shirt especially for him.

Cael smiled and chatted with the woman before moving on to meet the media.

That was one of the few things Sanderson had to smile about on this night. No. 19 Lehigh made sure of that witih a 23-14 win over No. 14 Penn State in front of the second-largest crowd in Stabler Arena history ? 5,254.
