Over 4,000 fans watch Lions defeat Huskies in Cael Sanderson’s coaching debut
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Penn State Nittany Lion wrestling team, ranked No. 15 in the initial NWCA Coaches Poll, downed Bloomsburg 23-15 in the home opener for head coach Cael Sanderson’s squad. Over 4,000 Penn State faithful watched as Penn State’s young line-up won six of ten bouts for the win. Senior Cyler Sanderson (Heber City, Utah), ranked No. 5 at 157, downed No. 2 Matt Moley of Bloomsburg in the day’s signature bout.
