MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – No matter if it’s in the Eastern Wrestling League or the Big Ten, Penn State still gives Craig Turnbull fits.
The 32-year West Virginia coach watched his record against the Nittany Lions sink to 7-19 on Friday night at the West Virginia University Coliseum.
Penn State (5-1) won seven of 10 weights, including three by pin and one by disqualification, to dispatch West Virginia, 32-13.
The usually loquacious Turnbull was reduced to one word when asked to assess the Mountaineers’; performance.
“Lousy,” he said.
