HAMPTON, Va. – Senior Adam Lynch picked up a critical pin at 141 pounds to lead the Penn State wrestling team, ranked No. 14 in the nation, to a 22-13 win over No. 13 Kent State in the quarterfinals of the 2010 Virginia Duals.
Lynch’s victory was one of six for Penn State as the Nittany Lions moved into today’s semifinals. Penn State will meet No. 4 Oklahoma State at 2 p.m.
Penn State opened up the Duals with a convincing 26-9 win over Virginia Tech. The Nittany Lions won seven of 10 bouts on their way to the victory.
