Tom Brands considers it to be just the next meet on his top-ranked Iowa wrestling team’s schedule, just another step in the process of preparing the Hawkeyes to compete for a third straight NCAA title.

But tonight’s Big Ten dual comes with a twist.

When Iowa takes the Carver-Hawkeye Arena mat at 7 p.m., it marks the return of first-year Penn State coach Cael Sanderson to the state where he previously headed the program at Iowa State.
