As senior nights go, this one was perfect, both literally and figuratively.
The No. 10 Penn State wrestling team 13-5-1, 5-2 Big Ten won seven of 10 bouts to turn away Michigan State 8-6-1, 2-4, 26-12, Friday night as 4,408 fans helped the Nittany Lions celebrate Senior Night.
The four seniors in the lineup – 141-pounder Adam Lynch, 157-pounder Cyler Sanderson, 165-pounder Dan Vallimont and 184-pounder David Erwin – all won their final bouts in Rec Hall. A perfect 4-0.
And, for the entire team, its fourth win in a row capped and undefeated home slate. A perfect 5-0.
