Hank Stinson pins Mike Bakuckas (35-0) in NJ state semis

Hank Stinson of Eastern pins Mike Bakuckas of Hammonton, semi-finals 140

This kid looks like a real stud. He’ll wrestle for the state title Sunday against James Green of Willingboro. Green defeated Stinson two weeks ago to win a Regional title but Stinson returned the favor in a District match last weekend. Fittingly, the state championship will be on the line for the rubber match in what could be a classic.

    Whoa!

“… in what could be a classic.”

Wait until I get my hands on a video of this one. It was absolutely a classic with Stinson escaping, then taking Green down to his back, to go from a 5-2 deficit to a 7-5 win in under 25 seconds.
