NJ.com: Eastern’s Stinson comes on late to edge Green for state title at 140 pounds

BILL RAWSON, March 07, 2010

Hank Stinson’s 140-pound final was the first bout of the NJSIAA state championship round, but it was okay if any of his fans had not quite settled into their seats yet for the opening whistle.

Because once again, the Eastern senior displayed a penchant for dramatics on the state’s biggest wrestling stage and did his damage in the match’s waning moments.

Stinson trailed by two points before taking down Willingboro’s James Green and recording two back points in the bout’s last 10 seconds to emerge with a 7-5 victory and snare his second state title. His late feats erased a 5-3 deficit.
