Any parent can relate to the anxiety and angst of watching a son or daughter compete in an athletic endeavor.
Multiply that by a factor of at least 10 and you’ll start to approach what Penn State head wrestling coach Cael Sanderson and assistant coach Cody Sanderson will be experiencing as they watch younger brother and Nittany Lion 157-pounder Cyler Sanderson compete at the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships.
“It’s tough. It really is tough. It took me a while to really kind of figure it out. It hasn’t changed much. I just know how important it is to him. I feel real confident in him and I’ve always been really proud because he always goes out there and fights,” Cael said.
