Anybody recognize this shirt?

Yup. A Penn State wrestling shirt.

This is a vidcap taken from a Court Yard Hounds video doing their single off of their self titled debut album.

If the girls look familiar, it’s because they are sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Robison from the Dixie Chicks who have formed a side project group called the Court Yard Hounds The shirt is worn by Hounds’ guitarist Martin Strayer.

If the name sounds familiar, it’s because his father was Marty Strayer, Penn State All American wrestler from the sixties – hence the shirt connection. Strayer Junior also wrote many of the songs on the Court Yard Hounds album.
