Cael drops a hint re 2010 recruiting

In his latest blog entry, Cael suggests that they plan on bringing in five recruits for next year and that four of them have already committed.

4 out of 5 kids coming in have already commited and we are fired up about the future. – Cael Sanderson

EDIT: As Penn State Clips pointed out, Cael’s comment is actually about the kids coming in THIS WEEKEND for a recruiting visit.

The four kids who have already committed are listed in the UncleLar Recruiting Matrix as Sam Sherlock, Dirk Cowburn, and the two Altons, Dylan and Andrew.

I’ve got three kids listed as candidates for the fifth open slot – Blue Mountain’s Josh Kindig, Central Dauphin’s Marshall Peppelman, and Safford’s (AZ) Ryak Finch. My money is on Kindig.

Pennsylvania twins win in Fargo

Identical twins Andrew and Dylan Alton of Pennsylvania produced identical results: third-period championship wins and a share of the outstanding wrestling award.

Andrew held on for a 140-pound championship over Josh Kindig – another Pennsylvania wrestler who Dylan defeated for last year’s freestyle and Greco-Roman titles.

Dylan held on for a 145-pound championship over Vlad Dombrowsky of California.
